Food Pantry

Messiah Lutheran Church Food Pantry, through its faithful volunteers, are sharing our God-given blessings with all people. We show compassion, grace and mercy to all those who reach out to us from our community by distributing food for the body, mind and soul . We demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by providing the nourishment and sustenance for those who are hungry and to assist more families in our community as the needs continue to grow.

Our Food Pantry is usually held the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m, with some exceptions for the holidays.

Fellowship events

Potlucks: As with most Lutheran churches, Messiah enjoys our Potlucks!

During the months of August through April, we have monthly potluck fellowship meals on the 2nd Sunday of the month. We kick it off with a picnic-style meal hosted by the Lydia group in August, and end with a potluck Easter breakfast in April. We take off the months of May - July.

Bunco: We also enjoy our fellowship time playing Bunco hosted by our Lydia Group!

Grief Share

Grief Share support group is a safe welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief.

Some topics include: "Is this normal?", "Your Grief Journey", and "Self Care".

Messiah Lutheran Church

Messiah has a very active Senior Ministry! During the months of August - May, we gather at the church the 2nd Wednesday of every month at noon for a potluck meal and a some fellowship time. We often have a guest speaker.

We also go out to eat to various restaurants the 3rd Thursday of the month at 11:30.
